If Amendment 6 passes, Florida politicians will be able to interfere with a woman's right to make her own medical decisions.

No one - including politicians - should impose their beliefs on a woman and her family when they are making such an important decision as whether or not to end a pregnancy. It is better that each woman is able to make her own decision in consultation with her doctor, her family and her faith.

Amendment 6 makes no exceptions for a woman's health. If a pregnant woman's health were threatened, Amendment 6 could ban insurance from covering the medical care she needs to end a pregnancy and protect her health. We all deserve access to health insurance plans that cover life-saving care we can count on, not coverage chosen for us by meddling politicians.
